Otis is a fun-loving Holstein cow living on a farm where the animals talk and act like humans when people are away. He spends his days enjoying pranks and hanging out with friends like Pip the mouse, Freddy the ferret, Peck the rooster, and Pig the pig. Otis often clashes with his adoptive father Ben, who leads the farm’s animal community and expects Otis to act more responsibly. When a pregnant cow named Daisy arrives with her friend Bessy, Otis sees a chance to impress her by sneaking off to a big party in the barn.

One night, while Otis is distracted by the celebration, a coyote named Dag and his pack target the farm’s chickens. Ben takes on the threat but faces serious danger during the attack. With the animals’ safety at stake, Otis is pushed toward stepping up and taking on the leadership role to protect the community he had once overlooked.
