A group of college students, including James Donahue, Lisa Arlington, Peter Jones, Ashley Bennett, and Talia, embark on a camping trip into the dense, foreboding woods near Burkittsville. Their goal is to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of James’s sister, Heather, who vanished in these same woods years earlier while investigating the local Blair Witch legend. Equipped with cameras and minimal supplies, the group enters the forest seeking answers but quickly encounters unsettling signs that something malevolent dwells just beyond the tree line.

As night falls, the students find themselves facing strange noises, disturbing symbols carved into trees, and an oppressive atmosphere that heightens their fear and paranoia. With their sense of direction and trust beginning to unravel, they struggle to navigate the terrain while trying to stay together. The forest’s sinister presence grows stronger, testing their resolve and forcing them to confront a haunting force connected to Heather’s fate.
