Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 5 finds Buffy Summers facing one of her most powerful enemies yet when the mysterious and seemingly unstoppable Glory arrives in Sunnydale searching for a supernatural Key. Buffy’s world is also transformed by the sudden appearance of her younger sister Dawn, whose existence hides a secret with enormous consequences. As the threat grows, Buffy must balance her responsibilities as the Slayer with increasingly difficult challenges involving her family, relationships, and the people she loves most.

Blending supernatural horror, action, humor, and deeply emotional character drama, the fifth season explores themes of family, identity, grief, responsibility, and sacrifice. With Glory providing a formidable new threat and Dawn reshaping the Summers family dynamic, Buffy the Vampire Slayer builds toward one of the series’ most powerful and memorable finales.
