High schooler Ferris Bueller pretends to be sick to skip class and spend a day off in Chicago. Alongside his girlfriend Sloane and his nervous best friend Cameron, Ferris embarks on a series of fun and spontaneous escapades across the city, including stops at popular spots and unexpected detours.

Meanwhile, their school principal, Ed Rooney, becomes determined to catch Ferris in the act of truancy, while Ferris’s sister, Jeanie, grows increasingly frustrated with his antics. The trio’s efforts to enjoy their day clash with the obstacles they face from those trying to keep them in line.
