Jessica returns to her childhood home with her family, hoping for a fresh start. Her youngest stepdaughter, Alice, soon discovers a stuffed bear named Chauncey in the basement and forms a strange bond with it. What begins as innocent play quickly shifts as Alice’s interactions with Chauncey grow increasingly troubling.

Concerned by Alice’s changing behavior, Jessica tries to intervene but soon realizes that Chauncey is far more sinister than a simple toy. As unsettling events escalate within the house, Jessica must confront the dark presence tied to the bear and its grip on Alice.
