Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003)
Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) is a live-action/animated comedy adventure that brings the classic Looney Tunes characters to the modern world. The film follows Daffy Duck, who, feeling overshadowed by Bugs Bunny, quits Warner Bros. and teams up with stuntman DJ Drake (Brendan Fraser). Together, they embark on a globe-trotting mission to rescue DJ’s father, a secret agent, and recover the mystical Blue Monkey Diamond, a powerful artifact sought by the evil ACME Corporation and its chairman (Steve Martin).
As DJ and Daffy race around the world, they are joined by Bugs Bunny and Warner Bros. executive Kate Houghton (Jenna Elfman), encountering iconic Looney Tunes characters like Tweety, Marvin the Martian, and Yosemite Sam. The team must stop the ACME Corporation’s plan to use the Blue Monkey Diamond to take over the world. Looney Tunes: Back in Action is a zany mix of live-action and animation, blending slapstick humor with action-packed sequences in a lighthearted adventure that stays true to the spirit of the original cartoon series.
