Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) is a 3D animated adventure-comedy based on characters from the classic 1960s television series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The film centers on Mr. Peabody, a genius talking dog, and his adopted human son, Sherman. Using their time-traveling machine, the WABAC, they explore significant moments in history as part of Sherman’s education. However, when Sherman gets into a conflict with a classmate named Penny, a series of mishaps occurs, sending them and Penny on a wild adventure through time.

As they travel to different historical periods, including ancient Egypt, Renaissance Italy, and the Trojan War, the trio must navigate danger, resolve historical chaos, and find a way back to the present. Along the way, Mr. Peabody and Sherman’s father-son bond is tested, and they come to realize the importance of family and trust.
