Thomas Hutter, a real estate agent, travels to Count Orlok’s remote castle in the Transylvanian mountains to discuss the purchase of a property. Unaware of the dark nature of his host, Hutter’s visit takes on an ominous tone as he encounters the eerie and unsettling Count Orlok.

Back in Hutter’s hometown, his wife Ellen grows increasingly anxious during his prolonged absence. The mysterious presence of Orlok looms large as the strange dealings between the two men begin to affect those nearby, setting a chilling atmosphere that threatens the safety of those Hutter holds dear.
