When a young boy named Pete discovers a clutch of mysterious eggs, he soon realizes they hatch into a group of playful baby dinosaurs. Alongside his family, Pete must navigate the challenges and excitement that come with caring for these prehistoric creatures in a modern world.

As the dinosaurs attract the attention of various adults, including curious neighbors and possibly those with less friendly intentions, the family works together to protect the tiny dinosaurs and keep them safe. Their adventurous journey takes place mostly around their home and neighborhood, blending family dynamics with a touch of fantasy and comedy.
