Following Superman’s fatal battle with Doomsday, the world struggles to come to terms with the loss of its greatest hero. As his body is laid to rest, four new figures don the Superman emblem in an effort to protect Earth: the Last Son of Krypton, Superboy, Steel, and the Cyborg Superman. Each takes up the mantle in hopes of carrying on his legacy, while familiar allies like Lois Lane, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter prepare for the challenges ahead.

Superman’s death has also sent a signal to hostile forces across the universe, marking Earth as vulnerable. Amid mounting threats, these new champions must prove their worth to both friends and foes. With figures like Lex Luthor, John Henry Irons, and the mysterious Cyborg maneuvering in the background, the stakes rise as the planet’s defenders confront the uncertainty of this new chapter.
