After tying the knot, Shrek and Princess Fiona travel to the kingdom where her parents, King Harold and Queen Lillian, reside. Their visit quickly becomes complicated as Shrek meets Fiona’s mother and deals with the unexpected challenges of fitting into royal life. Alongside his loyal companion Donkey, Shrek encounters the charismatic and cunning Puss in Boots, a notorious ogre-hunter with his own agenda.

Meanwhile, the Fairy Godmother, who controls much of the kingdom’s magic, intervenes with a potion that stirs up trouble for Shrek and Fiona’s relationship. Prince Charming, who has his sights set on Fiona, also becomes a significant obstacle. Shrek must navigate these magical and social hurdles while protecting his new family and finding a way to earn acceptance in an unfamiliar world.
