Admiral James T. Kirk and his crew are faced with an unexpected revelation when Ambassador Sarek arrives with important news about Spock. Dr. Leonard McCoy is secretly carrying Spock’s living essence within himself, a discovery that sets the crew on a mission to find a way to reunite Spock’s spirit with his body.
