Star Trek: Prodigy Season 1 follows a group of young aliens imprisoned on a distant mining colony who discover an abandoned Starfleet vessel, the USS Protostar. With no experience of the Federation or its ideals, they steal the ship in search of freedom and begin learning what it truly means to work together as a crew. Guided by an interactive training hologram modeled after Captain Kathryn Janeway, the unlikely team embarks on a journey across the Delta Quadrant while evading a relentless enemy determined to reclaim the Protostar.

Designed as an accessible introduction to the Star Trek universe while rewarding longtime fans, Star Trek: Prodigy blends exciting adventure, stunning animation, and heartfelt character development. The first season explores themes of friendship, trust, redemption, and hope as its young heroes grow into a family inspired by the values of Starfleet.
