Star Trek: Short Treks Seasons 1 & 2 is a collection of standalone short stories that expand the Star Trek universe through adventures featuring characters from Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: The Original Series, and Star Trek: Picard. Each episode explores a unique corner of the franchise, offering new perspectives on familiar characters while introducing fresh stories that range from lighthearted adventures and emotional character pieces to thrilling mysteries and exciting science fiction concepts. Together, the shorts enrich the wider Star Trek mythology by filling in events that take place between and alongside the main television series.

Across its two seasons, Short Treks celebrates the diversity and imagination of Star Trek through concise, character-driven storytelling. Blending humor, action, drama, and classic science fiction, the anthology explores themes of curiosity, hope, compassion, and discovery while providing deeper insight into beloved characters and introducing memorable new ones in adventures that can be enjoyed both on their own and as companions to the larger Star Trek series.
