Star Trek: The Animated Series Season 1 continues the adventures of Captain James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. Leonard McCoy, and the crew of the USS Enterprise following their original five-year mission. Free from the limitations of live-action production, the series takes the crew to even more imaginative alien worlds, introducing exotic lifeforms, bizarre phenomena, and ambitious science fiction concepts while preserving the spirit of exploration, diplomacy, and discovery that defined the original series.
