Star Trek: Voyager Season 1 follows Captain Kathryn Janeway and the crew of the USS Voyager after their starship is unexpectedly transported to the distant Delta Quadrant, more than 70,000 light-years from Federation space. Stranded decades from home, the Starfleet crew must join forces with members of a Maquis resistance ship and learn to work together as they begin the long journey back to Earth. Along the way, they encounter unfamiliar civilizations, dangerous new enemies, and unexplored regions of space far beyond the Federation’s reach.

Returning Star Trek to a spirit of deep-space exploration, Star Trek: Voyager combines science fiction adventure with the challenges of a crew isolated from everything familiar. The first season establishes the relationships, conflicts, and friendships aboard Voyager while exploring themes of leadership, cooperation, survival, and the determination to uphold Federation ideals even when home is on the other side of the galaxy.
