The Apparition (2012) is a supernatural horror film that centers on a young couple, Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan), who are haunted by a terrifying presence after a university experiment goes horribly wrong. The experiment, led by Ben and a group of students, attempted to summon a supernatural entity by focusing their collective thoughts on it, inadvertently creating a malevolent force. Soon, strange and disturbing occurrences begin to plague Kelly and Ben’s home, growing increasingly dangerous as the entity’s power escalates.

As they seek help from Patrick (Tom Felton), another participant in the experiment, they realize that the apparition cannot be destroyed and grows stronger with fear. Trapped in a nightmarish situation, Kelly and Ben must confront the consequences of their actions as they fight for survival against the unseen force. The Apparition explores themes of fear, belief, and the dangers of tampering with the supernatural, offering a tense atmosphere and eerie visuals.
