After escaping the perilous Misty Mountains and the goblin tunnels, Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and the company of dwarves press onward toward the Lonely Mountain. Their goal is to reclaim the dwarves’ ancestral home and vast treasure held captive by the fearsome dragon Smaug.
