In this dystopian reality, the Federation has become a militaristic regime, and Picard must rally his allies, including Raffi Musiker (Michelle Hurd), Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), and Dr. Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill), to restore the timeline. Their mission takes them to 21st-century Earth, where they must navigate a pre-Federation world to uncover the root cause of the anomaly and repair the timeline.
