Cap Requests

I use this page to help decide what to cap next. Every request is considered, but please remember that a request is not a guarantee that I’ll cap a movie. It depends on whether I can actually obtain it, whether a Blu-ray or 4K release exists, how expensive it is, and simply how much spare time I have. I’m just one person running these sites as a hobby alongside a full-time job and family life.

Please read the rules below before submitting a request. Following them saves me a huge amount of time and helps keep the request list organised.

Request Rules

  1. 🚨 First: Check if the movie has already been capped.
Before making a request, please search the site first. I spend a lot of time deleting duplicate requests for movies that are already online. Duplicate requests may be deleted without notice. If a request already exists, please vote for it instead of creating another one.
  2. Only request movies that have an official Blu-ray or 4K release.
I no longer cap movies that are only available on DVD or other standard-definition formats. If you can’t buy it on Blu-ray or 4K from a major retailer (such as Amazon), I probably won’t cap it.
  3. Only request 4K versions that actually exist.
Many requests are declined simply because the movie has never been released in 4K. I can’t cap a version that doesn’t exist, so please check that before requesting a 4K upgrade.
  4. Use your votes wisely.
Every registered user receives 15 votes. It’s usually better to support existing requests instead of creating duplicates, and concentrating your votes on the movies you want most gives them a better chance of being capped. When a request is completed, your votes are automatically returned so you can use them again.
  5. TV show requests are not accepted.
I currently choose TV shows myself, so all TV show requests will be declined.
  6. Don’t request individual scenes or moments.
I always cap the entire movie from beginning to end, so every scene is already included in the finished gallery.
  7. Don’t request deleted scenes, extras or bonus features.
With nearly 2,000 requests waiting, I simply don’t have time to cap special features.
  8. Use the correct title format.
Please enter movie titles as Movie Title (Year), for example The Mummy (1999). Including the year makes it much quicker for me to find the correct release.
  9. You don’t need to request Blu-ray or 4K separately.
I’ll always cap the highest-quality version available when I start working on a movie. The only exception is if I’ve already capped the Blu-ray version and a genuine 4K release comes out later – in that case, feel free to request a 4K upgrade.

Filling in the Request Form

  • Title: Enter the movie as Movie Title (Year).
  • Description: This field is required by the plugin. Feel free to explain why you’d like to see the movie added or re-capped, or simply write ‘No additional information.’
  • Category: Select the site the movie belongs to (Animation, Movies, Star Wars or Star Trek).

Thank you for helping keep the request list organised!
